  • Why should I book direct?
    You'll receive free breakfast valued at $20 per person per morning.
  • Why do you charge extra on my children when I book a family room?
    The family room rates, by default, include only two guests in the room. We start charging extra guest fee from the third guest in the room. The fee schedule is as follows: The surcharge is $50 per child per night or $100 per adult per night from the third guest in the room. Any unauthorised guest stay is charged at $200 per guest per night. This policy applies to reservations through all booking channels including Booking.com and Expedia etc.
  • Do you offer discounts?
    We offer discounts to our returning guests. You'll find the promotion code in the guestbook in our guest rooms. You also can subscribe to our mailing list for our special promotions, usually sent out in February and March for the upcoming winter season.
  • Check-in & check-out time
    We endeavor to have the guest room ready as early as possible; however, during peak season we cannot guarantee early check-ins. The usual check-in time is from 3pm. Late check-in is available. You'll receive a text message with late check-in instructions on your day of arrival if you arrive late. Late check-out is only available if pre-arranged and confirmed with Vikas Team. Luggage storage is available upon request.
  • Where can I find your cancellation policy?

  • When do you take payment?
    We take full payment at time of booking. Only fully paid reservations are confirmed and guaranteed availability.
  • Extra bed and bedding configuration?
    Unfortunately we do not offer extra bed nor change of bedding configuration in our guest rooms. The number of guests, including infants and children, must not exceed the allowed maximum number of guests for the room.
  • Curfew?
    We do not have a curfew time at Vikas; however, the dining area is closed around 9pm at night. If guests would like to stay up late, the TV lounge room is available 24/7. Noise level in the room is to be kept at minimum after 9pm.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Sorry but no.
  • Can I pass my reservation to friends?
    Yes provided the main guest is over 18yo. All you need to do is to send us an email info@vikaslodge.com with the name of your friends.
  • Do I need to pre-book my breakfast?
    No. Walk-ins welcome. Breakfast is available for purchase at the coffee bar each morning.
  • Do you offer dinner?
    No we no longer offer dinner at Vikas.
